Chapter 4
The Underbitch
Small, underestimated, and three moves ahead of whoever made that mistake.
The bitch was seriously petite. The chair was bigger than she was.
Nobody seemed to notice. The bitch certainly didn't.
She occupied the head of the table. The others took their seats.
Order had been established.
Small Dog. Big Opinions.
The little bitch was the smallest in the park. This caused her no concern.
A big dog approached. She sniffed him and informed him of the rules.
Another bastard arrived. The bitch clarified some points.
A Shepherd wandered past. The bitch offered guidance.
The larger dogs listened politely. Or appeared to.
