Chapter 3
Bitches Off the Leash
Domestication was always a suggestion.
Some bitches declined.
The bitch left town with the top down. No destination.
And an unreasonable amount of confidence. Some bitches are born to stay.
Others are born to leave.
The Great Escape
The bitch escaped three times before lunch. The first time was accidental.
The second was educational. The third was recreational.
By afternoon she had visited two neighbors, investigated a construction site, sampled a hamburger, and made several poor decisions.
She considered the day a success.
The Curious Brain of the Bitch
Some dogs possess stronger exploratory instincts than others. Researchers call it novelty-seeking.
